My Reviews
Ali Jadidian
My friend and I did an 8 day tour with Ali that started in Tabriz and included Kandovan, Maku, Khoy, Takab, Horaman, Alisadr Caves, Hamedan and Kashan. As a tour I highly recommend it as it takes in ancient, magnificent landscapes and goes high into the mountains.
As a tour guide I cannot recommend Ali highly enough. He is kind, generous and thoughtful. His driving is excellent. He has a gentle sense of humour and is always willing to answer questions. I have a slight mobility problem and he was always there to lend a helping hand.
I had some wonderful conversations with Ali and am deeply grateful to him for providing such a wonderful tour and being a delightful travelling companion.
Having previously completed an 8 day tour with Ali, when it came time to transfer from Isfahan to Yazd and to exploring Yazd and the surrounds we were delighted when Ali was available for 3 days and this time we had the pleasure of his wife, Roya's, company as well.
Ali's English is excellent and Roya's is good. Both are dedicated to providing the best service they can, they are extremely knowledgeable and professional but also warm, generous, caring and hospitable.
Over the course of the three days we visited old towns, caravanserai, wind towers, Zoroastrian temples, the towers of silence, mosques, Persian gardens, an ancient castle and the desert.
Safe driving by both, warm smiles and good conversations, excellent commentary, care and support for our comfort all contributed to making our time in Yazd full of wonderful memories.
Roya Hasanzadeh
We met Roya because we had previously completed an 8 day tour with her husband Ali Jadidian (also on tourhq).
We had three days of tours with Roya and Ali combined which included a transfer from Isfahan to Yazd and took in old towns, caravanserai, wind towers, Zoroastrian temples, the towers of silence, mosques, Persian gardens, an ancient castle and the desert.
While we were in Yazd Roya was always there to help. She told us about a handicraft exhibition and when we said we would be interested she not only took us there but she negotiated great prices for us. When she took us around the old town she refused to accept commission from the shop she took us to insisting we be charged Iranian prices.
Our final day with Roya was a transfer from Yazd to Shiraz taking in Pasargad, the Necropolis and Persepolis. It was an amazing day and Roya's excellent commentary added depth to our experience.
Roya is an excellent driver with good English and a kind and generous heart.
I became very fond of both her and Ali, not only do they embody Persian hospitality they have a depth of integrity and honesty which influences all their dealings.
It has been a joy and a privilege to have them both as guides.
Yahya Blanka
A friend and I did two full day tours and an airport transport withYahya and he was fabulous.
Yahyahas a great love and pride in his country and is delighted to share this with people who are interested to learn. He is knowledgeable and communicates this knowledge easily. He took us to many historical buildings, beautiful mosques, the bazaar, and wonderful gardens; also to the tombs of Hafiz and Saadi where, at my request ,he even recited a poem in Farsi – one of the many highlights of the tour.
Yahya listened to the things we were interested in and to my great delight ,as well as showing us around the city of Shiraz, he also took us outto the stunningly beautiful pink lake about 40 minutes outside the city and the next day to the mountains near the city just at the time they turned golden in the late afternoon sun. He also took us to where there was street food, traditional deserts, anda very authentic restaurant.
Yahya was kind, generous, intersting and knowledgable. It was a pleasure to spend time with him and to learn more about the ancient and majestic country of Iran. His prices were extremely reasonable and he was very generous with his time.
Thankyou Yahya. I treasure the memory of our time together and your generosity and many kindnesses.
