I and my wife spent 3 days in Mashhad, the ground starting pointof our 6 weeks private Silk Road tour.

Mastaneh was the Mashhad’s local perfect guide. She speaks a perfect English.

She holds a master cultural and geographical competence of its town and surroundings (Neishabour, Robat Shar and Robat-e-Mahi caravanserais). She had a perfect timing from the morning to the evening and led all visits powerfully.

She always took care of us in every moment for everything including lunches, dinners and proper clothes and behaviors in her country. Her assistance at national borders was perfect (Mashhad international airport and Sarakhs at Iran/Turkmenistan).

She is the embodiment of the Iranian people kindness. Thank you Mastaneh.

Zafer is a gentleman, he has never failed my trust. He is an excellent guide, an expert on Turkish history, not easy given the many peoples who have occupied Anatolia since ancient times. In every historical or archaeological site, in every museum we visited from East (North Mesopotamia) to West (Lycie roman region) the information received was detailed and contextualized temporally and historically. Dinners at (required) local restaurants have all been good and safe. Always on time for appointments and prudent in driving his car. Excellent fluent English.
