Dimitris Sotirakis

Demitris is knowlegable about all things ATHENS.  We enjoyed our time with Dimitris at both the Acropolis and the museum.

Alessandro truly made our quick visit to Venice feel like we had more time in this beautiful city. We went off the beaten path, as requested, to old neighbothoods and secret hideaways.  We loved spending a most gracious day with Alessandro. We learned about architecture, history, ways to get around, stories of old and so much more. He even went out of his way to help us  figure out how to get to other events we had planned (theatre and musical) and how to work the Venice City Pass stuff we had purchased for the next few days. We plan on returning to Venice and even tho we have seen so much with Alessandro, we will definitely contact him again to catch up, visit and tour. Having Alessandro on this trip was like having family in this amazing city. We were privileged to get to have him and his passion with us for a day.

We lovvvvvved this young lady! Noemi was early to meet us (punctual) and was very knowledgable on all of BudaPest and Hungary as a country (professional).  It was our last day before a flight and (we thought) we had pretty much covered everything..... wrong!  Noemi showed us places we had yet to venture and told us the story behind each place. We thouroughly enjoyed her and the tour. It is always nice to have a good person and an enjoyable human on a tour as well as all the knowledge. I have had a few guides through this site and not all are nice humans. Noe'mi made sure we got back to the correct public transportation so we could get to the airport and our flight. Here's the kicker: as we waited for the metro after taking the #4 tram, here came Noemi running after us. We were shocked to see her and her telling us she had traditional Hungarian candies she had for us, but forgot to give to us.  # AMAZING PERSON. And that pretty much sums up this young lady! She is a well educated, pleasant, professional and amazing tour guide. Thank you so much for a great day. If you are ever on Crete please give us a call. We would love to return the favor. We had a great tour of London with Danielle! She was prompt, professional and loads of fun and an expert in her field of London knowledge! We walked and saw what we feel is the  heart of London. If we had more time we would spend another day with her she’s that amazing. TY Danielle for such a lovely day.

We got a late text that Ilker couldn't take/make the boat to Rhodos, so he was sending a relative to meet us. We finally did connect with the new guide but the tour was somewhat lacking in history. Might be a bit of a languauge barrier but I felt I knew as much as our guide from my basic reads.  Based on what we saw, 2 hours is probably enough for this tour; we paid for 4.

Mohamed was on time and professional. He has others that work with him as needed, and we were lucky to spend an afternoon with Mustafa in the souks:)  TY Mustafa! Mohamed is brilliant and speaks many languages. He hires professional drivers as well so you feel safe in the car and during travels on the roads.  Mohamed knows so many things about Morocco!!! It is very much worth hiring him because you get professional service and guidance.  We saw so many things in Marrakesh as well as in the Three Valleys.  We hope to return and do a longer trip with Mohamed in Morocco.  Thank you/Se'hha and see you again! We loved riding the train from Thessaloniki to Kalambaka but be advised.... no one speaks English. We were told by our hotel not to worry, its an easy transfer and everyone speaks English but that was not the case. We managed but we are seasoned professionals.  You are met by a guide at the station but it was a large bus and it is that kind of tour. You are told some history but it is up to you to really know the history to fully enjoy this visit. The monastery visits are yours and you can spend your own time wandering. We got to visit 3 which was great; some only let you get to 2.  Customer service (on the phone and email) was EXCELLENT. Our train was cancelled on the return without notice to them or us and this is no reflection on the tour but it made for an even longer day waiting at the train station. B prepared we say and we made the most of it with Greek men laughing and playing backgammon and bringing and old man in from the cold for food and drink. He did look a lot like.... Santa Claus!!! Hmmmmmmmmmm.
