Ko Soe Soe ( Mandalay )

We were lucky to choose Soe Soe for a week long tour of Bagan and Mandalay.  I asked him to show us both the famous and less visited places and he delivered!  We visited Salay and climbed the 777 steps to mount Popa one day which was a refreshing change from the more touristy spots in Bagan.  

Soe Soe also navigated us through Bagan with information on each site.  

He also did a great job with the Mandalay part of our visit.  I was worried about being in a large city, but we had a wonderful time.  

Soe Soe was also good at adapting our itinerary to our energy level.  

Thank you Soe Soe for making our visit to Myanmar a special trip!

Chansay Nanthavong

Chansay did not actually show up for our tour.  We did not have much advance warning either.  But his replacement, Toy Syvongxay, was very good, so not sure how to rate this tour.

Dionel Baco

We were lucky to pick Dionel Baco to spend 6 days guiding us in the Sacred Valley and Cusco areas.  We visited all the popular spots such as Moray, Ollantaytambo and Saqsayhuaman, but Dionel managed to get us there before or after the tour buses so it was not crowded.  He also knows spots such as Pumarcha, that are seldomly visited.  It was wonderful being the only people at at an ancient site.  Dionel's English is excellent as is his knowledge of Peru.  His car was good and very clean.  He was able to change plans on the fly, depending on our desires.  We recommend him for your trip to Peru.
