Michel Mutambayi

First of all my friend Edith and I (two french women in Cape town) booked Michel Mutambayi as our guide because he spoke french. What a good idea it was ! At once we felt we were with the right person !

He helped us discover the town and its surroundings, but most of all the soul of Capetown, and of its inhabitants.  In the wine cellars as well as during a mass in a township, or discovering Cape Point, or visiting people in townships, we always felt at home, and welcome, and  it made all the differece !

So when I came back months later with other friends, we called Michel another time, and so did our friend's friends ! Michel's infectious smile, his great knowledge of the city and his people, his kindness, contribute to make this trip to Capetown a unique moment  : it would never have been the same without sharing it with Michel Mutambayi.
