Damith Dilshan (Dam)

Firstly Ineed to clarify that this review is not just for the sake of it , it is a true reflection to tellholiday makers from my heartwhat lifeexperienceswe really went through in our tour with our guide.Damith was our tour guide and Salinda was our driver, Damithwelcomed us and informed us of our detailed itenary, As there was facility for wifi to be connected we purchased data and the minibus was connected to wifi (which these days we cannot live without) we were very impressed with this facility.As we got to know them the bond got closer and closer, he was always one step ahead of us,and hefulfilled all our day to dayrequirements and gave usno chance to complain as he new exactly what we needed. His knowledge of Sri Lankanhistory, its culture, its people ,what places to visit, whereto eat, where todo shopping etc was second to none, his English was of anexcellent standard,clear and precise,it did not take long for both to gel with us and we were enjoying the company and soon we were getting the feel of whatSri Lanka was all about. We do a lot of travelling and seen many guides Damith I would say would definately be the best we have had had,his character,knowlege and forward thinkingat such a young age has left me speechless, he was always with us whereever we went keeping umbrellas ready when it rained, the van was always ready when we needed it so many little things that made this atruely remarkable destination, usually we go to a place and never go back again but Damith has impressed us so much that he has literallysold Sri Lanka to us to go there again, I am so happy that we metDamith and will be recommending him veryhighly to friends and family members a truely great experience.
