Ashok was not a really a guide, he was more like a dear friend who cares about you and the amazing sights he is showing you - who just happens to be incredibly knowledgeable! Every step of the way he not only took care of every request, but shared personal insights which made the journey feel personal and warm. Ashok was also very flexible, when I told him I wanted to go a bit more local instead of sticking to the main tourist sites, we went to an amazing local Tibetan restaurant with smiling elderly woman and incredible food! He also took me through local markets and showed me a side of Nepal I would not have seen otherwise!
