Sarath Karunarathna

We had to find a driver on very short notice to start on the same day so we were very glad to find Mr.  Karunarathna on the internet. We were off to a slightly rough start though. We had to wait two extra hours for the driver to get to our guest house and right after the pickup had to deal with an additional one hour delay because the car needed maintenance.

Everything else exceeded our expectations. The driver was always on time (regardless of us being late from time to time). He made a lot of suggestions for places or sites to visit and recommended a couple of rather touristy but excellent restaurants. We always felt safe while he was driving and we could rely on him whenever we needed to. The overall price of 50$ per day was 'all inclusive' which we felt to be fair. After he had dropped us off in Kandy, he even called us after the trip  to make sure we were doing well.
