Mohsin Khan

In 2015, Mohsin Khan was our guide in Agra and Fatehpur Sikri. Not only was he affable,personable, and very pleasant to be around, he also demonstrated a vastknowledge of the local culture, history, and traditions. We learned a greatdeal and did so in a perfectly pleasant environment provided by Mr. Khan.Because of him, we fell in love with the local lore and even, upon hisrecommendation, obtained several books to further our knowledge, including awonderful saga by Tanushree Podder, “Escape from Harem.” Mr. Khan introduced usto the intricacies of a wonderful local craft, a variation of pietra dura,which the Taj Mahal is famous for. His explanations were always perfectlydetailed and fascinatingly interesting. All in all, we could not have asked fora better guide.
