Maher Edwards

Safaris, museums, markets and mountains have each offered my friends and me a delightful taste of Cape Town, but a tour with Maher is a full course meal.

On our drive to the Aquila Safari reserve, Mr. Edwards intertwined his personal pre- and post-Apartheid experiences with the landmarks, farms, people and natural wonders that we crossed along the journey; he’s a natural storyteller and willing to go beyond our expectations to paint a rich and meaningful perspective of the country. We stopped for fresh grapes, jumped into the river along the road and made scenic detours. Mr. Edwards made our trip incredibly memorable - one of my favorite experiences during my stay in Cape Town.
