We felt very lucky to have had Rizwan as our driver/guide for almost 2 weeks (Sept. 28-Oct 10) while travelling around Sri Lanka. He was an excellent driver, helped us to select accommodation, was always on time when picking us up and was very knowledgeable about Sri Lanka. He was funny and easy to talk with. He made sure that we tried all of the things that make Sri Lanka special, i.e. stopping for roadside yogurt & honey (so good), coconut milk from fresh coconuts, fresh strawberries and ice cream! He took us to fantastic viewing points to see beautiful waterfalls and tea plantations that spread for miles. Knowing that one of us liked to take pictures he made sure that we stopped for those special shots. Communication with Rizwan, prior to our arrival to Sri Lanka, was easy through email and he was prompt with responding to our questions. He had a newer Prius, which was such a smooth ride and AC (very much appreciated with the heat!) and every morning he would arrive with it sparkling clean and ready for another day of driving Sri Lanka. Rizwan helped to make our vacation one to remember and we are very thankful to him for that. He is a caring individual who takes pride in his work as a guide in Sri Lanka. We highly recommend Rizwan as a choice for a guide and driver if you are planning a vacation in Sri Lanka. Should we be lucky enough to return to the beautiful Island we will certainly be calling on Rizwan again!
