Mojtaba Heidari

I recently returned from a wonderful trip to Iran. Mojtaba was my excellent driver/ guide in Isfahan and Yazd. I contacted him a week before my departure to Isfahan after finding his website through a google search, and I'm delighted to report that Mojtaba did not disappoint! He replies to emails promptly and can organise flights, visas and great hotels quickly and easily. He is a very organised guide and I can definitely say his tours and services are real value for money. Mojtaba also organises desert tours and trips all over Iran. He drove me over 1000km during our 3 day tour, from Isfahan to Yazd and back to Isfahan, with diversions off the main highway to visit interesting towns such as Naein, Meibod and Abarkuh. His driving skills are formidable and he gets you safely and quickly to your destination. Mojtaba is the perfect guide, and my tours around Isfahan, Yazd and the other towns proved to me how knowledgeable he is about the history and civilisation of this fabulous country. To add to this, Mojtaba is enthusiastic, clearly loves his country and his work and speaks English like a native! He is also great fun and has a great sense of humour! I give Mojtaba a 5* rating as one of the best guides I have experienced on my many travels around the world, and I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending him to prospective visitors to Iran.

Oleg Grachila

I booked a 1 day tour to Transnistria with my guide Oleg Grachila, and I enjoyed every minute! Firstly Oleg's English is perfect, he also brought his own nice, comfortable car and took care of all the border formalities which went smoothly. We drove to the nearby town of Bender and visited the War Memorial dedicated to the people who lost their lives in the civil war of 1991-92, also a park with a cemetary and memorial to those who lost their lives in WW11. after Bender we drove on to Transnistria's capital, Tiraspol, a lovely, spotlessly clean city and really an open-air museum of the  Soviet Era. We parked the car and walked all around town, visiting 3 war memorials, W11, the Afghan war and the Civil war of 1991-92, lovely parks, the Palace of Youth Culture, streets with Soviet names, and of course statues of VI Lenin! Oleg changed money for me, enough to buy some good coffees at the town's many kiosks, and an excellent lunch! After lunch we strolled up the main boulevard and visited another statue of Lenin in front of the classical early 20th Century  Russian style university, the state Theatre and Opera and crossed over a picturesque bridge over the Dniester river. Oleg left nothing out, and it was a full day of about 8 hours. I was very pleased with the tour, and would highly recommend Oleg as a guide, punctual, professional, and a great personality!
