Guma Alex Tibanyendera

Went on a 12 day tour in Rwanda and Uganda with Alex as the guide / driver in August / September 2014. It was a fantastic experience and I can't recommended Alex highly enough. He had great knowledge of the places all throughout the tour, ready to share that knowledge in impeccable english. He showed great attitude throughout the 2 weeks - always ready with a smile or laugh, and was ALWAYS punctual wherever we went. Driving safely is a key concern for many tourist, and he certainly values client safety very highly. What stood out to me was the extra mile he was willing to go to make sure his clients are comfortable, for e.g. I wanted to try local food, he went out of his way to organise it; when I needed to access internet, he made sure I was able to achieve it; when my bags were lost and needed to be recovered, he drove for hours without any hesitation; and when I went for water rafting, he made sure to help me take photos so I would have that as souvenir. He has great passion for this job and this passion shows through in the quality of experience he is able to provide to his clients. Overall, again, Alex is a fantastic guide, and now a friend. I would really strong recommend Alex if you ever decide to go to Uganda or Rwanda. Alex - thanks again for showing me around and please keep it up!
