Shantha Liyanagoda

My daughter and I had recently returned from a four day tour of Sri Lanka. We spent 1 day in Colombo, the second day in Galle, Hikkaduwa before heading to the Madu River for a boat safari as well as the turtle hatchery, the 3rd day we went to Pinnawala Elephant orphanage before going on a Elephant ride, then the spice garden before going to Kandy to see the amazing Tooth relic temple. On that night Shantha arranged a gorgeous hotel at the Serene Grand Colombo including dinner and breakfast. On our last day we went to Minneriya park for a Jeep safari and had a Ayurveda massage before returning to Colombo to fly out. Shantha was personable, friendly and caring and speaks great English and Japanese and incredibly knowledgeable about the history and he is also very passionate about Sri Lanka. Shantha was great at picking out restaurants and was very accommodating to my daughter, in fact my daughter really can't wait to return to Sri Lanka because of Shantha and neither can I. Would definitely recommend.
