My Reviews
Faisal Alahaydib
Whilst visiting Riyadh for business I decided to spend my free day by taking a tour with Faisal. The day started with Faisal colleting me from the hotel. We then went to the old town and visited some local shops who were producing their own products including oud, clothing, and food. Faisal was full of knowledge and passionately explained the history of Saudi Arabia, and Riyadh. After taking in the old town ruins we went to a local café for some traditional Saudi coffee and pancakes (I cant remember the Arabic name for the pancakes) After a quick break we headed to the national museum of Saudi Arabia. Faisal really showed his exceptional knowledge here and I felt fully immersed in the history of Saudi Arabia and Islam. I asked a tonne of questions whilst in the museum and Faisal took his time to provide insightful answers. We could have spent all day in the museum but kept the visit brief so we could fit in the next activities. After stopping for lunch at a modern Arabic restaurant serving traditional cuisine (the food and service were excellent!) we took in the sights and history of Diriyah which is home to the Al Turaif UNESCO world heritage site. Once again Faisal took the time to explain what we were viewing whilst showing me around the historic streets and buildings. The tour concluded with a visit to the "edge of the world" just in time for sunset. We stopped on the way to pick up some refreshments before arriving at the perfect time to see the sun go down. Faisal did a great job of looking after me all day, took the time to answer my many questions, and made sure I was comfortable through out the day. In summary, I would highly recommend booking a tour with him, you wont be disappointed! Thank you Faisal.
