Selvam is an exceptional tour guide for the Thanjavur Brihadeshwara temple. He is very knowledegable about the temple, the history and the spiritual elements associated. He took his time to explain all of it to our family and brings along a binder with architectural renderings etc. that helps provide more details. 

He is also well respected within the temple premises so is uniquely positioned to provide insights and approaches that would not be possible on your own. He is also good at taking pictures from the right places and angles for amazing potraits.

Overall, wonderful experience touring this temple with Selvam, highly recommend using his services to make your trip most worthwhile.

Rengarajan was our family's tour guide for the Trichy Jambukeswarar and Ranganathaswamy temples. We found him to be a great resource and deeply knowledgeable about these temples, their history, their religious practices and the spiritual takeaways thereof. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Kanchipuram with Natarajan. We found him to be very knowledgeable of the history, culture and the mythological stories behind the famous temples in Kanchipuram which date back thousands of years. His communication was engaging and very open to questions from the members of the group. He is also quick with photos at the right spots to capture the memories of the trip. For a hot day, it was considerate of him to bring along umbrellas for those that needed it (and we recommend using them, it gets hot fast before you realize it). He also had considered availability of clean rest rooms at various locations on the tour. We highly recommend him for tours of Tamil Nadu and will look him up next time we are back.
