MyUber Mauritius
I had booked MyUber for more days originally and gave a downpayment of US$75. Due to our cruise ship being unabke to dock, plans changed and we only had part of a day in mauritius. So we contacted MyUber to get us early at 7:30am to maximize our short time on the island before our flight out. MyUber was good to communicate back and quoted an additional $US85 to pick us up at the port at 7:30 and drive us around and to the airport by 1pm. We waited in the crowds and heat at the dock for 2 hours! The excuse was that traffic was heavy but if you live there, you'd know that and leave earlier, right? Also they didn't know that to get in at the dock they needed a pass. The driver was quiet, but friendly and drove us around but only knocked off $15 for the lost 2 hours. We were lukewarm about the drive around and started out disgruntled after him being so late and felt overcharged at the end. Would not book with them again.

Coming into the port at Nosey Be is busy with everyone vying for your attention. Our guide was waiting for us with a sign and after looking for the driver a few minutes, we were off. The truck had no a/c but the windows were all open. We saw the lemurs, crocs and turtles. The ylang ylang trees and distillery for perfume was very interesting and we had time to buy their products. Our driver snd guide were super. They also took us to the market to buy fresh vanilla pods and spices. They also supplied us with bottled water and were very eager to please. I recommend this contact!
VAZA TOURS
We went with a driver and guide in Antsiranana from the port to Tsingy park to see the red geological formations . The drive each way was a bone jarring 3 hours. We did see the landscapes and villages and got a good feel of the area. The guide did inform us of several facts along the way and was friendly. At the park we had a 45 minute walk and got some water and fruit. The price was comparable to a cruise ship excursion, so no deal, but we were not in a crowded bus and had our own guide.
