I booked our tour with Barbara some weeks in advance. She set out clearly what our tour would include and was helpful in making sure we understood what would be involved and where to meet. On the day she let us know what she was wearing and where she was waiting for us as we got off the train. There were 4 of us, and she quickly understood what we would most like to see and be interested in. She took us at exactly the right pace, kept us interested and amused, and explained what we were seeing clearly and briefly. All in all just the sort of tour, and guide, we wanted.

Luisa Testa

We booked Luisa a few weeks before our day going to the Vatican. She was regularly in touch to  explain the plan for the tour, where and when to meet , and answer our questions. She texted on the morning of the visit to confirm everything and was waiting for us when we arrived. She quickly got our measure in terms of the way we like things to be explained, and most importantly, the pace we wanted to take everything (not too quickly with a few rest breaks thrown in). From then on she gave us exactly the day we were hoping for. Luisa is very knowledgeable but more importantly she didn't just throw facts at us, she made it fun. She got us to really look at things and pointed out details that we would otherwise have missed but which brought everything to life. She was really generous with her time, and we are so grateful to her for making our day with her so enjoyable.
