Oumar is a passionate and experienced tour guide with a broad knowledge of his country’s cultural and social history. He is a great ambassador of Senegal but he is also an honest broker about its people and the challenges of his country. We had a great tour of the capital city and enjoyed seeing all the major landmarks. We were driven in a private air conditioned van with a cautious driver. Our tour guide was patient in accommodating our needs but efficient in delivering a well planned tour of Dakar. We also enjoyed our conversations with Oumar. His English is excellent and he’s well versed in many other aspects of life in West Africa. I found him to be among one of the best professional guides I’ve met in my 40 years of international travel.
