Eraldo Mucaj
My wife and I had a nice adventure with Eraldo. We visited the Arberi Winery and had lunch at an agriturismo near Lezhe. Eraldo speaks excellent English, but most important to us was his knowledge and insight regarding Albanian history, culture, economics, and politics. We learned much more from than we were expecting. He went out his way to make sure we had a rewarding experience. Strong sense of humor too!
Linda Haska
For us, Linda was the right guide. In arranging our rendez-vous in town, she was flexible and communicated promptly. We enjoyed her depth of knowledge of Albanian history, both pre- and post communism, and getting to know her on a personal level. And Linda picked out a great lunch spot!
Elton Xheka
Our guide Elton lives in Berat, so he was able to meet us directly at our guest house within the Berat castle. We enjoyed his knowledge of local and whole of Albania history, culture, politics, and modern issues. After touring in Berat, Elton arranged and was our driver for wine tasting at the Alpena Winery, where we had a memorable experience and traded cheers with the owner and staff. We had a wonderful day with Elton.
