Milan Gočmanac

We were looking to see a Serbia that is different from the typical tourist spots and learn the local history, people and culture.

We started in the western part of Serbia at Zlatibor where we enjoyed the mountain, Mokra Gora, River Drina, Tara National park with amazing horse riding. Moving to Belgrade as a base and foraying into the nearby regions of Golubac and Fruska Gora as day trips.

Visiting numerous etno villages to see how Serbs lived and still continue to carry forward some traditions with the help of Milan and his extensive network of partners and friends.

Wine tasting at the Sukac winery in Fruska Gora was a unique experience thanks to Milan.

Milan's knowledge on Serbia, its regions, its customs, its culture is extensive. The pride he has in showing off his country is commendable and very infectious.

We went to Serbia to tour with a guide, but we have left with numerous experiences and a very good friend in our guide Milan!! :)
