Awad Hajjara

In spring 2013 we had Mr. Awad Hajjara as our tour guide in Jordan. We had a wonderful time with him. Awad is proud of his country and he was very eager to tell us, Dutch people, everything about Jordan’s history, archaeology, nature, traditional food, Bedouin hospitality, deserts, flowers etc. We learned so much about Jordan. We were with 15 people, 7 of them were blind or weak-sighted. Awad was always very helpful and caring. He was always trying to give his blind and weak-sighted guests the experience of the things they could not see by telling and explaining them things and if possible by touching things. It was a great trip. We all enjoyed this trip.
