My Reviews
Amir Sadek
From we sat foot on Egypt ground, he was there. I have been traveling for 20 years all over the world and in Egypt you need that someone is there to assist and understand the needs of his clients.
Employed safe drivers. Generally Amir seems to have many connections everywhere and that is needed in Egypt.
Amir is an experienced guide with perspectives of the world and a great talent for enriching history of Egypt. He gives details when requested.
Amir is flexible to adjust his schefule to meet the needs of his clients. He understands and is strict about Covid protection. Found Egypt very safe in this regards due to its geography, also avoided markets etc.
We spend a week with Amir from north to south.
Lilit Serobyan
I booked a 4-day private tour in Armenia with Lilit Serobyan and paid about $1000. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. One of the main issues was punctuality. During the entire tour she was late almost every day. On average she arrived about 30 minutes late for scheduled meeting times, and on some days it was close to an hour. This happened repeatedly over the four days. When you book a private guide at this price level, you expect a professional schedule and respect for your time. First guide I ever had who requested to start later and we had to push for starting 9 o'clock and this was in Yerevan were hotels served breakfast from early on. The constant delays disrupted daily plans and made the experience stressful. The driver was very professional. However i missed not having seat belts available or being able to open a window. Lilit Serobyan is knowledgable of history, has great english and language skills and assist with interpretation with locals. I would recommend her for guiding bigger groups with plenty of time, managed by her and walking at slow pace. I hope this review helps other travelers make an informed decision when booking a private guide in Armenia
