We stayed a few Days at Sachins Apartment for our start to our one Month travelling to Northern India. First I expected a homestay with just a room and nothing more, but Sachin turned out to be a very very helpful host, guidung us to many interesting places like local markets and temples where I alone never would have gone, I was really lucky to meet Sachin as he helped us through the Rest of the Trip like giving assistance for traveling in india, arranging train or bus tickets etc. and he knows many spots in whole India. You can really trust him if you're searching for the genuine indian life and not the crowded overpriced tourist places. He is very friendly and he makes you feel very comfortable and safe in his company. Of course I gave him some extra fees for his guiding and assistance (which is much more worth than the fees he charge), as its also a source of his income, but he also keep option open to compensate as per guest's willingness and their budget. So nothing seems forceful at all. The room is really good value for the money, it is clean and cosy, i felt quickly like home, it has shower and western toilet in a really quiet neighbourhood not too far from mulund train station. The Building is a house where you can find everyday indian life, in a very sympathic neighbourhood. Of course if it is your first stay in india dont expect a five star hotel with pool in front of the door but what i want to say is that you will not find more value for your money and such a highly sympathic host.
