Ngu Thet Thet Khaing

Thet Thet was our guide for 2 days in and around Bagan. Her knowledge of Bagan and its history is astounding. She has also given us very interesting information about contemporary life in Myanmar. It was not just dry facts, but also the peculiarities of local life. For example, obsession with astrology. Or naming the people of Myanmar.

She's fun and smiling forever. It is very tactful and unobtrusive. Helpful and helpful. Beyond the agreed two-day services on the third day she got up early in the morning and personally escorted us to the railway station. She helped us buy a train ticket and escorted us to the wagon.

During our stay in Myanmar we had three private guides. The others were also very good, but Thet Thet was the best of them. Actually, when I think about it, she was probably one of the best guides I had on my travels around the world. And I've passed dozens of countries in Europe, Asia and both Americas.

Thanks, Thet Thet ...

Mandalay In Bloom (MIB) Travels & Tours

We booked a three-day trip with a private guide and a car with a driver at this agency. In and around Mandalay.

The Toyota Alphard was a comfortable and big enough vehicle for the three of us, the driver and the guide. We agreed itinerary in advance, mainly on the basis of this agency's proposal. With some specialties such as our transport to Mandalay Airport.

Our guide Chen was excellent. Very well informed about the history and present of visited places. We greatly appreciate that he showed us also local life, eg. at the market in Pyin Oo Lwin or took us to a restaurant for locals in Sagaing.

Chen was kind and helpful. He found, on his own initiative, that our domestic flight was canceled and replaced by another company flight (locally specific). Or he took us personally to our train, found the right places, and agreed with the train guide to the location of our luggage (as the Burmese railways don't think much of the big luggage of passengers). In doing so, Chen was very tactful and courteous.

It was great, thanks ...
