Starting from your hotel at 9:30, you will be greeted by the guide. Our first stop is the majestic vista point overlooking Göreme Valley, where you will receive information about the rich history of Cappadocia and its unique rock formations. From the panoramic viewpoint, we will continue to the underground city, Kaymakli. I will explain how locals carved these multi-level underground cities to hide from enemies. You can also see traces of their daily lives in the stables, wineries, temples, living quarters, air shafts, etc. After exploring Cappadocia's deepest caves, we will return to Uchisar for the Pigeon Valley. Next, we will have lunch in Avanos in one of the local restaurants. After lunch, continue to Avanos, the town of traditional pottery art. Thus, we will visit one of the family workshops in Avanos to have some information about the pottery and have a kick-wheel-pottery demonstration. After lunch, we visit the highlight of Cappadocia – the Goreme Open Air Museum. As you explore this spectacular UNESCO World Heritage site, your guide will explain the meanings of frescoes covering the walls of thousand-year-old cave churches. The last vista point is Love Valley, and you will return to your hotel.
