We shall start this real-time, live tour with a panoramic view from the University headquarters, covering the two twin Baroque churches of Carmo and Carmelites and their ceramic work
Afterwards, it’s time to head to one of the most famous bookshops in the world, controversial for the Harry Potter saga, and then to the former Jewish Quarter. Inside this previous ghetto, learn how the Sephardic Jews struggled in Porto as well as in Portugal, how their lifestyle and trading helped to shape the city’s landscape and finish with a panoramic view from a hidden sightseeing area. Towards the river, we will see a beautiful Art Deco stained glass McDonald’s, a 20,000 tile railway station, and historical and colourful houses from the Dark Ages of Porto. Conclude your tour after feasting on the breathtaking views of the Douro River.
