Description
Join me on this live-streamed interactive online experience to explore the landmarks of fair Verona. We will start our tour from the main square, the Piazza Brà, and walk through the shopping street at the City Centre to reach Juliet's house. We will spend some time here under the famous balcony and the statue of Juliet. Walking around, I will share some interesting anecdotes about Shakespeare's masterpiece and how it has shaped the city.
Making our way towards the Piazza Erbe, I will take you to witness the core of the ancient city with the majestic Lamberti Tower. We will also see the medieval and romantic part of Verona at Cortile Mercato Vecchio Square and at Piazza Dei Signori Square, which is where Dante Alighieri's statue stands. We will stop for a brief while in front of Arche Scaligere - the funerary monument of the medieval Lords of Verona - and make our way to Romeo's House. The tour will finish on a picturesque note at the banks of River Adige, where we will take in the beautiful view of Verona and its surroundings stretching out ahead of us.

After a degree in Foreign Languages for Tourism, she started working in tourism as a receptionist at a hotel and dealt with tourists. This motivated her to become a tour leader. As a tour leader, she introduces many tourists to the best parts of Verona. She conducts walking tours, gastronomy tours, urban treks, and e-bike tours around the city center and neighboring places like Valpolicella and Lake Garda. As a local, her motto is to show the best of Verona and its provinces.
Francesco Mazzai is a professional guide in Verona and has been in this profession since 2012. He is passionate about his city, its art, history, legends, and tales. He has also been acting in a theatre for many years, from which he developed a passion for Shakespeare. He has investigated Romeo and Juliet's story and discovered a lot of interesting things that he wants to tell you!
