Get acquainted with the historical centre of Minsk on this real time, interactive online experience.
First, we will take a walk in the Freedom Square; referred to as the Upper Town in ancient times; where we will see some charming historical buildings from the 17th to 19th centuries alongside some remarkable statues and monuments. As we walk along, you will also learn about the history of 950-year-old city and take a plunge into the epoch of Minsk's prosperity.
As we proceed to the second part of the historic centre, the Trinity Suburb, pay close attention to the cosy inner yards and hidden corners. I will regale you with interesting facts, legends, and trivia about many of them. We will finish our experience at the Island of Tears, a beautiful and moving memorial set on a little island in the middle of the river in Minsk.
