Description
This live-streamed, interactive online experience will allow you to enjoy the best of Casablanca from the comfort of your own home!
We will begin our virtual tour at the Hassan II Mosque, the tallest religious monument in the world. Then, we will take a five minute taxi ride to the Old Medina to begin our walking tour through the narrow streets. In this leg of our tour, we will visit the famous Rick’s Cafe immortalised in the famous movie "Casablanca", and pass by the Old Jewish Quarter, the old synagogue, and many of the city's mosques and the markets.
Next, we will depart from the old town through one of the most beautiful gates of Medina Bab Jedid, and head to the new town built by the French in the Protectorate period, where you will see the fantastic art deco buildings. We will then pass by Mohamed V Square and finish the tour with a quick stop at the Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Throughout the tour, I will provide you with information about the cultural and historical development of the city, as well as furnish some local wisdom to enrich your trip by the dozen!
