Bled is one of the most beautiful towns in Europe, situated on the lakeside in the northwestern part of Slovenia. In this Online Experience, we will explore all the hidden corners and best places in the centre of Bled.
The most recognizable symbol of the island is the Church of the Mother of God on the lake, and on our way to it, I will introduce you to the facts of its long and diverse history. The church is best known for the "wishing bell" inside, which is popular among the many visitors to the island - when they ring the bell, they recommend themselves to the Mother of God and express their wishes unto her.
On this tour, we will also make our way to the amazing castle above lake Bled to enjoy its beautiful view at all times of the year. Here, you will get to learn some very fascinating stories about Bled. I will then take you to explore the Bell Tower, the Curacy and Provost's House, Small Hermitage, and some other interesting island buildings whose appeal comes from the mystery and legends surrounding them.
