I have lived through vibrant times. I grew up under Communist rule, and later joined demonstrations and marches for freedom during the Velvet Revolution. I graduated from university in the Czech Republic and got my engineering degree in the UK. I established my own tour company in 2001, and since then, I have been enthusiastically leading individual tour groups. I love cycling, skiing and yoga and travel as much as I can with my husband and three girls. I have travelled all over Europe, South East Asia, India, and the US. My favourite countries in Europe are Croatia, Slovenia and Italy.
I love strolling through Český Krumlov, a Medieval town, which has been my hometown for more than 20 years. It is like a fairy tale destination! There is even more - walking through the Český Krumlov castle courtyards, which are open any hour of the day or night, is my obsession. No wonder, it is the second-largest castle in Europe!

The tour guide was fantastic! She not only described the location, but also the history through the ages, including the more contemporary aspects and the occupying or controlling countries at various times. She had a depth of knowledge about each of the buildings that made each one important and interesting. She was truly great!
