Description

Join me on this interactive Online Experience streamed live from Maputo, and together we will explore one of the most charming cities in Mozambique and, indeed, the whole of Africa.

We will begin our virtual tour from the Maputo Cathedral, a beautiful building which is the last of its kind in the country - here; I will tell you why the locals referred to it as "the place where they don't belong". Next, head to the Mozambique Counsel and see the statue of the "Hero of Mozambique," Samora Machel. I will tell you why he was loved and revered by the entire nation and introduce you to his relationship with Nelson Mandela.
Strolling around the Tunduru Garden, we may be able to spot fruit bats hanging from trees. This will be followed by a short stop at the Iron House, whose story will fascinate you.

En route to the Fortress of Maputo, we will see the Central Bank and the 25th June Avenue. Upon entering the fort, observe the intricately designed models, each telling stories from Maputo's tumultuous history from the era of Bandu Tribes to the era of resistance for independence.
I look forward to hosting you on this tour and showing you the wonderful sights of my city!
