Join me on this interactive Online Experience of Turin to explore the city and its heritage in a way that's never been done before!
Walk with me, as I live stream to you from the Piazza Castello. Together, we will head towards the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist. The Cathedral is home to 'The Shroud of Turin', quite possibly the world's most studied and controversial artefact. We will then proceed to the Piazza San Carlo which is surrounded by arcaded buildings and is decorated by the churches of Santa Cristina and San Carlo. The pride of this piazza is the Caval ëd Brons (Bronze horse), and I will tell you more about its significance. We will see historic cafes like the Coffee San Carlo and Stratta. Then we will go through the heart of the city centre, discovering hidden gems such as the facade of Italy's first cinema hall. We will learn more about Italy's political history at the Palazzo Carignano, which stands is a testament to Guarini's prowess as an architect. We will "round up our tour" in a beautiful eclectic "mall".

Marco Manino was born and raised in Turin, where he attended the local university and graduated in Foreign Language and Literature. After other job careers, in 2011, he decided to work in Tourism, obtaining the professional qualification and licence of Accompagnatore Turistico in the same year and Guida Turistica in 2014.
He really loves his job and feels lucky to be able to do it because it allows him to relive his city every day, to discover something new about it, and to show people from every corner of the world, with different backgrounds, interests and sensibilities how wonderful, albeit underestimated his hometown is.
