Description

Moscow is one of the largest cities in the world and it can take weeks or even months to see everything. Nevertheless, on this tour, you will see some of the main city highlights that show the beauty and the contrasts of Russia's capital. As I walk with you on this live-streamed online experience, we will learn about different periods of Russian history, architectural styles and urban legends, and discuss things like Russian cuisines, what’s happening in Moscow in the times of the coronavirus, and more.

I will show you one of the best theatres in the world which highlights Russian culture in all its glory, lead you to the mall where Russia's richest shop, and take you to the hotel which has hosted world leaders and celebrities like David Bowie.

We will take a walk through one of the most beautiful streets in town, Nikolskaya Street, which connects the Red Square and Lubyanka Square. Next on our itinerary, of course, will be the Red Square, where we will see St. Basil's Cathedral, the Kremlin, the Mausoleum, and the Kazan Cathedral. Before concluding our tour, I will show you a shopping mall where you can buy "Russian sized" vodkas when you plan to visit Moscow in person!

Meet your Host
Tanya Neyman

I have been working as a tour guide for over four years. It is a joy for me to share my knowledge of Russian history and culture as well as some city secrets with my tourists. As a keen traveler myself, I totally understand how important it is to have an unforgettable trip. I have a master's degree in multicultural communication and I specialise in Russian culture. I will do my best to show not only the historical aspects but also the local life in Russia. I will be happy to share personal stories, to answer your questions about Russia and provide an honest and objective response. I prefer to keep the tours fun and interactive yet knowledgeable. Personal preferences, travel style, and interests can easily be reflected in the tours. I am learning photography at the moment, so if you like taking pictures I can bring my professional camera to make the tour all the more memorable.
