Walk Around the Historic Town of Lima
We began at the Church of San Francisco, which is very famous for its subterranean crypts, known as catacombs, then, in the way to the Main Square, we will pass by old and elegant buildings from the eighteenth and nineteenth century, such as, the Railway Station, Government Palace, the City Hall, The main Catedral of the country and the beautiful Main Square where was founded this city on January 18th, 1535. Traditional streets like the Unión Street, Ucayali street, where limeños can find reasonable prices of a diverse of things, even tourists can find here good restaurants, electronic items, money exchanges, and nice vintage hotels. Our last spot will be the main meeting point of locals, surrounded by pubs and restaurants set up in classical buildings from the nineteenth century, San Martin Plaza is the point of politic and social protests, its a free zone with good vibes, a place of pubs and nightclubs.
