Description
We will begin our live-streamed online experience from the Palm Beach region where the entrance to the abandoned city of Varosha is located. I will walk along two routes to show you the former resort suburb of Famagusta. The first will lead us into the Main Market of the city, full of deserted albeit beautiful shops and two schools with a full greek facade. The second route is a little bit longer and needs more walking, but worry not, I will walk down all the way to the end, and you will also see the military part of the city which is still in use by Turkish troops. As we reach the end of the road of our experience, you will see what old villas and residents complexes look like when left in the hands of time and natural forces.
