Description

Let us begin this Online Experience over coffee at El Ateneo Grand Splendid, the world's most beautiful bookstore as awarded by National Geographic. This magnificent site is located in the Recoleta area, a small-scale Paris in the north of Buenos Aires.

Afterwards, we will stroll down Avenida Alvear, one of the city's most distinguished avenues, dating back to 1885. Take a pause at La Biela Cafe, the oldest cafe in the city, to understand the coffee culture in Argentina with some historical and cultural facts. We will also visit the magnificent Recoleta Cemetery entrance, one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world. I have many legends to share about this cemetery such as the story of Evita Perón - former First Lady of Argentina.

Moving towards Pilar Church, Recoleta Cultural Center, we will admire several stunning monuments and the Faculty of Law. Here, we will take a peek into education, religion, tango, food and local history. Pass by the Palermo area, best known for its large parks designed by renowned landscape architects, such as Charles Tays. Our last stop would be the Floralis Generica, a moving sculpture that has become a symbol of the city. We will conclude the tour here with a nice chat about the lovely city and Mate - the traditional drink we locals can never get enough of!
