Start the tour around the moat that surrounds the Old Town of Chiangmai and then enter via the gates used as the entrance to the Old Town. Learn about the way of life in the past 700 years and visit one of the well-known temples in the Old Town named Wat Chedi Luang. There is a pillared house and the Inthakhin pole, which all Chiangmai locals highly respect. Visit the main Chapel of the temple and see the beautiful decoration that belongs to the end of the 13th and early 14th centuries. Take a walk to the Chedi Luang or Big Stupa, which collapsed due to an earthquake 400 years ago. In the end, I will show you the relic of the Buddha’s Saint that houses the remnants of the forest monks and nuns.
