Live-streamed from the historical centre of San Salvador, this online walking tour starts from El Rosario Church, a beautiful church that symbolizes sadness and tragedy. Next, you will see the Libertad Plaza, where San Salvador was founded in 1545 by the Spanish. I will take you around showing you the colonial buildings and share interesting stories about them. Heading towards Plaza Barrios, you will learn about the life of Salvadorans at work. Then, you will visit the beautiful National Palace and the Metropolitan Cathedral where you will travel back in time and learn about the historical events that took place. The tour will conclude with a visit to Plaza Morazan and the wonderful National Theatre.

My name in Francisco Eliezer Vanegas Ortega. I was born in San Salvador in 1985, I studied journalism and languages at college. I've been working as a tour guide since 2014 but I was certified by the tourism ministry until 2018. I also am certified as a Seaman in 2009 and that gave me the opportunity to work in a cruise line company. I really enjoy working as a tour guide because one of my favourite things is to show my country to people from other countries. I am a soccer fan, my favourite team is Real Madrid, I also enjoy to play tennis. My future plans are to continue working in tourism and I hope everything goes back to the normal.
