Cover all the major tourist attractions in Bath in this live walking tour with an enlightening commentary to fully explain everything. Start with The Abbey to walk to the Roman Baths & Pump Rooms, Sally Lunn's, The Pulteney Bridge & River Avon. We will see the medieval Alleyways of Bath and the original section of the old wall of the city & cobbled streets.
Then we will explore the city's redevelopment in the 1700s, known as the Georgian period. I will show you the Queen Square, the Circus together with the old dance hall and gambling hall of The Assembly Rooms before moving on to the iconic masterpiece known as The Royal Crescent. You will get a full historic introduction to this magnificent building. We will then return to the centre admiring the floral displays of the Royal Victoria Park.
This tour will bring the city to life. It's not all about dates and boring stuff, it's about the people that live here past and present and what they got up to, and on many occasions changed the course of history.
