Description
The South African wine industry first started operating on 2 February 1659 and is now the ninth-largest producer of wine in the world. Nestled in the shadow of the Helderberg and Hottentot Mountains, it is one of the most beautiful settings for three wine estates that were established in 1700, namely Lourensford, Vergelegen, and Morgenster. We will spend the day at these estates, exploring the history of the Manor House of Vergelegen with its exquisite gardens and tasting beautiful wines, olive oil, and great food.
