Description
Start your live-streamed walking tour at the main gate of Petra, where you can see the djinn blocks with the guide. You will then see the Obelisk tomb, with its stark Egyptian influences and the Dam, where the Siq begins.
After crossing this colourful canyon, the stunning Treasury will appear before you, a testament to humankind's great artisanship.
After the Treasury, we will continue through the Street of Façades, and the last stop will be the main theater of Petra, the only carved theater in the world dating to the 1st century AD. The total distance covered in the tour will be 3 km.

We had a great experience "travelling" to Petra with Khaled. Khaled clearly knows the site and it is clear that he's very passionate about it - and about guiding tourists through its wonders. We had great sound, but sometimes less clear pictures, but it did not really matter that much. The video made during the canyon part was great. We can recommend it.
PS: Locked in from 7 different screens to celebrate a birthday family come-together.

Khaled Alhassanat was a superb guide to a very interesting archeological site I knew nothing about, one that is very dramatic both in natural terrain and in constructed buildings and statues. He was so well-informed and educational, but in an interesting way, and very responsive to questions - even questions about small things or animals that sparked my curiosity - and knowledgeable. He also has a friendly and engaging personality and the tour was a pleasure. I would definitely do another tour with him if he offers one of a different location in Jordan.
Everything was so well thought out. For instance, during a part of the tour where he needed to walk through a sandstone canyon where internet reception is not good, he provided a pre-made video to watch where he had video'd that portion of the walk so you were able to observe that as well. The large curved sandstone rocks and canals and so much else that precede the entrance to the Treasury were very well displayed in the video. It all worked incredibly well.
Khaled is a great ambassador for Jordan. I didn't realize the country is so close by plane to Greece, nor that with the right tour guide it could accommodate people like me who are old and don't walk well. All the same, it's very far and I might never make it there, but even though it's not the same as being there, seeing what I did on this excellent tour expanded my horizons and was also a relief at a time when I am sick of being stuck in my house alone. Hello everyone,
While stuck at home during this pandemic, I decided to take a virtual tour. I would like to give credit to the amazing tour guide Khaled, when I visited (virtually) the beautiful archaeological sites of Petra.
Firstly, Petra is an iconic location (with one of the New 7 Wonders of the World). The sites were astounding, but the real beauty behind it, was the history. To understand that, you need an amazing tour guide and I was lucky to have experienced Petra through the virtual live tour with Khaled!
Khaled grew up in Petra and knows a lot about its history, sharing it with me in great passion. He showed me many sites and even gave me his personal contact incase I had further questions, not just about Petra but about Jordan itself. I got so engrossed in the tour I didn't realise that the 1.5 hours passed so quick!
I hope you all go to Petra on Tour hq and visit its ancient sites with Khaled, because I can't stress how beautiful and amazing the experience was!!!
This UNESCO World Heritage site typically has 8,000 visitors a day and now it's deserted. Through these rough times, this helps out tour guides like Khaled immensely, and I can guarantee, you won't regret it!
