Description
Yazd is one of the historical towns in Iran and is associated with Zoroastrianism, wind towers, silk, sweets, and mud-brick houses. In this experience, we will visit the old city of Yazd, which is one of the most ancient settlements in the world. According to UNESCO, this abode heart of the town includes houses, narrow and roofed alleys, arches, and lovely towers on the roofs.
During our walk along the narrow alleys, you will see sun-baked brick towers, known as "Badger", that are considered grand ancestors of modern air condition systems. We will walk up to the rooftop of 200 years old building to see the unforgettable view of the forest of these towers. This town was one of the main Bazars (markets) during the silk road time. Here, you will enjoy visiting shops of silk cloth, sweets, and other handmade shops. We will say our final goodbyes in front of the Jame Mosque of Yazd, which is considered a blue jewel among the Islamic buildings in Iran.
