Description
After picking you up from your accommodation at around 9 am, we will drive for one hour outside Cape Town along the Old Spice route to Paarl-derived from old Dutch meaning 'Pearl'. This place got its name because of the black majestic granite rocks that shimmer in the sun and form the backdrop to the farming lands known for its heat in summer (>40° C), farming, and most importantly forms the triangle in the Cape Winelands.
You will visit one of the only places in the Winelands that produce some of the most delicious Goat and Dairy Cheese and pair it with an impressive flight of 8 wines produced solely from one wine farm.
Next, we will travel to Stellenbosch which is the second oldest town in the Mother City and visit a small family-owned wine estate for a unique experience that allows you to create your own personalized bottle of wine to take home. You will receive a selection of blending components with the challenge to create your own blend. The experience is designed as an activity for two, with the blending kit making a single bottle of wine to take home.
The third and final stop for the day will be at a quaint wine estate known for producing award-winning wines in a beautiful setting of lush gardens and breath-taking views. After a scrumptious European inspired lunch, you will be treated with a decedent flight of 4 wines and bespoke cupcake to end the day with a sweet note.

- During summers, which is the peak travel season, the Western Cape has a subtropical climate, with a maximum temperature of 40°C and a minimum temperature of 16°C.

My passion for the tourism industry started more than 15 years ago when I arranged a highly successful sight-seeing tour for several friends and family members who decided to visit and explore the natural scenic beauty and diverse culture of South Africa. I grew up in a family where a love for the outdoors was a way of life. I spent most of my career in a corporate financial environment, which has given me an immense understanding of the various industries that drive our economy in South Africa – Tourism and hospitality being one of them. During the middle of 2014, I decided to leave my successful career as a professional banker and pursue my ultimate dream of becoming an “ambassador” of our beautiful country. I am an avid purveyor of all the unique aspects that South Africa has to offer the world from a tourism perspective. These include, but are not limited to; it’s rich wildlife, unsurpassed scenic splendor, award-winning wines, and culinary delights – not to mention our amazing hospitality. South Africa is steeped in profound history and natural beauty. It is also a wonderful melting pot of cultural diversity, making it one of those “must-see” places on anyone’s travel agenda… A true “Rainbow Nation” as our beloved Nelson Mandela had wished for.
