This tour will take you to Galá Ethnographic Open Air Museum which takes around 40 minutes to reach by car from Baku. The museum was constructed on a site of archaeological excavations. The village, which is around five thousand years old consists of a number of quarters that still survive to this date. You will be acquainted with the ancient dwellings, traditions, and farming methods.
You will learn about the life and times of the people who lived here centuries ago. Not only you will see the exhibits of the museum but also experience ancient life. You will have the opportunity to bake real bread cakes, sit at the loom, or try your hands at pottery.
