Description
Moscow Metro is more than just public transport. Thousands of people volunteered to build what became to be known as 'The Palace of the People'. Today, it offers lavishly decorated stations with marble halls, stained glass, paintings, statues, and mosaics.
This virtual experience will provide you with a carefully curated presentation on the beautiful metro stations of Moscow. You will learn about the history of Moscow Metro and Soviet reality, and discover hidden historical objects. Also, I will share some captivating stories, intriguing secrets, surprising events, and talk about the modern-day image of the Moscow Metro.
I will use 3D panoramas, photos, videos, and graphics for this experience. In the end, we will have a Q&A session to answer all your questions about Moscow and Russia.

Meet your Host
Tanya Neyman
I have been working as a tour guide for over four years. It is a joy for me to share my knowledge of Russian history and culture as well as some city secrets with my tourists. As a keen traveler myself, I totally understand how important it is to have an unforgettable trip. I have a master's degree in multicultural communication and I specialise in Russian culture. I will do my best to show not only the historical aspects but also the local life in Russia. I will be happy to share personal stories, to answer your questions about Russia and provide an honest and objective response. I prefer to keep the tours fun and interactive yet knowledgeable. Personal preferences, travel style, and interests can easily be reflected in the tours. I am learning photography at the moment, so if you like taking pictures I can bring my professional camera to make the tour all the more memorable.
