Description
Come and join me for a walk to visit some of the famous spots of Montparnasse and the Latin Quarter. You will feel like you are travelling in a time machine, as you are regaled with stories of French kings, queens and warriors while visiting interesting streets and monuments.
We will start our tour from the Observatory of Paris, which is one of the first Observatory built by Louis XIV in Europe. Then, we will continue our tour to Montparnasse and discover an emblematic restaurant for art and literature. Following the Observatory gardens, we will look at a spectacular fountain and discover an invisible line that led us to Luxembourg, one of the biggest gardens in Paris. I will tell you the story about how the erstwhile Luxembourg Palace has now become the French Senate. Finally, we will end our tour at the Saint Genevieve hilltop, and talk about the complicated story of the Pantheon.
