Founded by the ancient Greeks as Korkyra Melaina or "Black Korcula," present-day Korcula is a fortress town surrounded by walls and dotted with towers dating back to the medieval period.

We will begin this Online Experience from the old town of Korcula, entering through one of the fortress gates that lead us to beautiful medieval stone buildings. Walking along the cobbled streets, we will pass by the City Hall and pay a visit to the Bishop's Palace. You will notice the unique shape of the town, which is laid out like a fishbone so that one is always near the seaside and it is impossible to get lost.
