This experience will start from Tenjin, a bustling shopping area in Fukuoka. This area boasts a big underground shopping mall and most of the famous shops can be found here. While you take a tour of the area, the guide will explain to you about the Japanese products and food items.

Then, we will step back in time as we visit Dazifu, the quieter side of Fukuoka. This town has a long history and served as the administrative center for the entire Kyushu region for over 500 years. There are a number of temples and shrines here, of which you will visit the most important one - the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. The street leading up to the shrine is lined with shops selling souvenirs and local delicacies like Umegaemochi and restaurants. You will be able to find a nice place to have a local lunch.

Later, we will return to Tenjin and walk around the area seeing some interesting architectural highlights of Fukuoka. Walking along the river through the old town, you will reach Hakata where the tour will end.
